Bright as the Mind. Warm as the Sun. The color yellow is known to be one of the greatest colors to affect our psychological and logical thinking, increasing mental activity, encouraging communication, and increasing muscle energy. Being playful and radiant, yellow allows us to make sane decisions in complex situations providing cautious cues and inspiring us with confidence. Now, time to get mellow for yellow. Heh.

Glittered in Darkness

Thirdman’s first palette titled “Glittered in Darkness” serves up a beauty of yellow against the darkness of black. This palette is composed of 5 colors which include: Golden Dream, Confetti, Calico, Cinnamon, and Congo Brown with the main highlighted colors being Golden Dream.

HEX, RGB, & CMYK Color Coding below! HEX | R-G-B | CMYK

Golden Dream: #eecf37 | 238, 207, 55 | 0, 13, 77, 7
Confetti: #e7d35f | 231, 211, 95 | 0, 9, 59, 9
Calico: #dbca86 | 219, 202, 134 | 0, 8, 39, 14
Cinnamon: #705501 | 112, 85, 1 | 0, 24, 99, 56
Congo Brown: #5b4038 | 91, 64, 56 | 0, 30, 38, 64

What a way of sophistication everyone. Now how do you use yellow, this is a prime example. Within this palette, we have mainly highlighted these golden yellows along with some grey accessories and brown shadows to make the palette come alive. Something about this Golden Dream (#eecf37) exudes something of a success and that comes with a whole lot of confidence led by this Confetti (#e7d35f) yellow. Seeing that yellow is a color that has no room for exaggerated feelings or sappiness, a Calico (#dbca86) yellow drives out all the colors that would bring her down. Now we have come to love our browns for keeping us grounded, but within this palette, this Cinnamon (#705501) and Congo Brown (#5b4038) shows us that the path to success takes nothing but a little understanding of the simpler things in life.
