Bright as the Mind. Warm as the Sun. The logical yet emotional Yellow is one of our great primary colors, but how great can it affect our thinking? The color yellow is known to be one of the greatest colors to affect our psychological and logical thinking, increasing mental activity, encouraging communication, and increasing muscle energy. And when it’s not playing with our mind gatewaying for a boost in confidence, enthusiasm, and inspiration. Time to get mellow for yellow. Heh.

Lay, Thinking of You

Next up in this primary yellow discussion is a palette that focuses more on the brighter side of yellow, welcoming “Lay, Thinking of You” which serves up a color combination that brings the mind to one of peace and clarity. This palette is composed of 5 colors that bring together its harmony including: Ronchi, Texas, Nepod, East Bay, and Ghost with the main highlighted color being Texas.

HEX, RGB, & CMYK Color Coding below! HEX | R-G-B | CMYK

Ronchi: #ebd04a | 235, 208, 74 | 0, 11, 69, 8
Texas: #f8fba7 | 248, 251, 167 | 1, 0, 33, 2
Nepod: #89aebd | 137, 174, 189 | 28, 8, 0, 26
East Bay: #3e527d | 62, 82, 125 | 50, 34, 0, 51
Ghost: #c7cfda | 199, 207, 218 | 9, 5, 0, 15

Feeling anxious yet? This palette knows how to deliver a strutting performance without even having to say a word. It is delivered through a bright yellow such as Texas (#f8fba7) which can cause uneasiness it makes you think, rethink, and think again. Bright yellow such as these allow for a deeper meaning of finding clarity within situations and is backed by a deep ocean blue such as East Bay (#3e527d) keeps us secure and confident as we face these thoughts.

Even though some shades of blue such as Nepod (#89aebd) show that it doesn’t like to be confrontational, Ronchi (#ebd04a) shows that it’s unaffected by emotions and doesn’t have the time to play. Yet, in the end, it’s up to our neutral superhero called Ghost (#c7cfda) grey that creates that tranquil zone for these colors to coexist in peace and clarity with their thoughts.
